This division specialises in music videos, live concert recordings and special events.
Be it recording a live concert with Celine Dion, producing a segment for Coundown or directing a video clip for the Gladiator soundtrack. Chris draws from his vast experience of over 35 years working in Film and Television. As early as 1970 Chris started out as a cameraman on a variety of TV Rock shows procuced by ABCTV, shows like GTK, Countdown, Flashes and even the legendary not so rock & roll Aunty Jack. The Fitzair Picture Company has also produced recordings and events for international artists such as Celine Dion, Inner Circle and Rage Against The Machine.
The Fitzair Picture Company’s crew are amongst the most experienced in the industry and due to Chris’ ‘hands on’ approach we can take almost any music project from concept to completion and make it work for everyone.

LIVE PRODUCTIONS
For live concerts we can provide a ‘packaged’ solution with a large variety of Outside Broadcasting Vans - from 3 Camera to multi camera vans, High Definition Recordings and because Chris was himself a cameraman with the ABC, he knows what works. When recording live acts there is always an audio option, recording the audio in a separate digital recording truck or at real time in the one OB van. When recording the audio in a separately, we link the main camera OB van to the Jands Mobile Recording Unit giving 48 tracks of digital audio, with this way of recording we can post mix the audio and re-stripe audio to the finished video master. This audio master can then be further mixed down and finished in a separate specialist music facility, such as at ‘Studio 301’, one of the worlds leading audio studios, located in Sydney as well.
The most appropriate mix of creative skilled crew, state-of-the-art outside broadcast vans, real-time one-site editing, digital post for vision and sound all add up to a successful shoot for you, the client – every time.
‘Live-to-air’ can be booked for international Broadcasts originating out of Australia, teleporting from Sydney via Satellite of Fibre Optic to Europe, North America and Asia. A number of mobile SatTrucks and remote Fibre connections are available to suit your requirements. The Fitzair Picture Company is one of the few production houses to have successfully shot live concert footage in venues ranging from vast entertainment complexes and arenas, outdoor sports stadiums, night clubs and even a maximum security jail!
